Job summary

Travelers is seeking an Associate Counsel to handle a caseload of lower complexity litigation, drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery under supervision. You will attend court events and depositions, provide case analysis to insured clients and claim partners, and build strong relationships with clients and partners.

You will operate under mentorship from senior lawyers to develop litigation skills, with a focus on effective advocacy and use of technology and case management systems.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree.
• Active license to practice law in the required state(s).
• Willingness to travel to court events as needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle a caseload of lower complexity matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery and other file documents.
• Attend court events, depositions and other appointments.
• Provide case analysis to insured clients and claim partners.
