Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an Associate Managing Attorney to lead a team of lawyers and deliver high-quality litigation results for Travelers' insured customers. You will recruit, retain, and develop staff while handling a moderate to complex caseload with strong oversight from Managing Counsel.

You will guide strategy, ensure timely analysis, and provide clear legal advice to partners across the organization.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent; licensed to practice law in required state(s).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Strong writing, advocacy, and trial skills; proven leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the office within the line of business; back up Managing Counsel when needed.
• Ensure outstanding advocacy and client service; manage staff performance and development.
• Maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Develop strategies addressing office development opportunities and provide training.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive cost-effective results and performance.
