Job summary

Honda of Bellingham is seeking an experienced Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead our F&I team with a strong emphasis on compliance and product knowledge. You will train new talent, clearly communicate benefits, and confidently close deals to generate finance income.

The ideal candidate will manage lender relationships, understand lease options and rate programs, and drive customer satisfaction through accurate paperwork and proactive service.

Qualifications

• Leads with a strong focus on compliance requirements and product knowledge.
• Able to train new talent and clearly communicate product features and benefits.
• Confidently closes sales and secures lender approvals.

Responsibilities

• Contract new business, sell and close deals.
• Generate finance income on all sold customers.
• Check/verify paperwork involved with cash, finance or loan transactions.
• Contract or collect all money at closing.
• Seek bank approval on financed and leased deals.
• Maintain a working knowledge of leases, balloons, etc.
• Assist in acquiring approval from lenders.
• Understand all programs and rate options offered by lenders.
• Solicit extended warranty sales (aftermarket).
• Handle all cancellations for extended warranties.
