Job summary

Jim Winter Automotive Group seeks a high-level Controller/Office Manager to lead financial and administrative operations at the dealership. This role partners with ownership to provide strategic financial oversight and hands-on leadership of the accounting team, ensuring operational efficiency and strict financial integrity.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of automotive dealership accounting/controller experience.
• Experience with Reynolds & Reynolds or Tekion is preferred.
• Proficiency in payroll/HR laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit accurate monthly financial statements to General Motors and dealership leadership.
• Supervise and mentor office staff to ensure high productivity and a positive work culture.
• Manage AP/AR, payroll, bank reconciliations, and vehicle floor plan financing.
• Partner with Department Managers to analyze profitability and control expenses.
• Oversee HR administrative tasks and compliance with federal, state, and manufacturer regulations.
