Jim Barnard Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Assistant Controller to join our family-owned dealership in Churchville, NY. You will oversee the daily operations of the business office, supervise staff, and support accounting and financial activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising office employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the dealership business office and assist with accounting and financial functions.
• Report to the Controller and collaborate with ownership and department managers.
• Supervise and support office staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
• Reconcile floor plan accounts and customer loan payoff accounts.
• Post transactions in the DMS and perform daily cash reconciliation and deposits.
• Prepare month-end and year-end closing activities and financial statements.
