Job summary

National General is seeking a Claims Inside Auto Trainee Analyst II to investigate and confirm loss facts for auto accidents, determine coverage, liability and damages, and adjust claims within authority. This in-office role is located at our Charlotte or Winston-Salem, NC offices, with the next training class starting in August.

You will handle basic investigation, collect police reports and witness statements, apply policy knowledge, and work with teams on subrogation and potential fraud.

Qualifications

• Experience with auto claims investigations is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking are essential.
• Office-based role in Charlotte or Winston-Salem, NC.

Responsibilities

• Handles basic investigation of auto claims (coverage, liability, damages).
• Identifies customer needs and applies customer service skills.
• Collects police reports and witness statements as part of the file.
• Determines coverage and liability within authority and negotiates settlements.
• Links with subrogation and fraud potential as appropriate.
