Job summary

Root Insurance is seeking an Early Injury Resolution Adjuster to help enforce fairness in auto claims across the United States. You’ll evaluate coverage, liability, and settlements while maintaining an efficient, empathetic claims process.

In this remote role, you will manage complex personal auto claims, coordinate repairs and rentals, and contribute to continuous improvement of claims guidelines. You will be expected to learn quickly and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful experience handling personal auto insurance claims across multiple states.
• Experience determining coverage and liability for varied accident scenarios.
• Ability to maintain high quality claim handling with strong productivity.

Responsibilities

• Delivers an industry-leading claim experience for policyholders and claimants.
• Confirms coverage and determines liability for a wide range of accident scenarios.
• Maintains a diary/schedule for each claim in the adjuster’s pending.
• Responds to claim correspondence promptly and with high quality.
• Gathers detailed accident descriptions from drivers, passengers, and witnesses.
• Coordinates vehicle repairs and rental reimbursement as needed.
• Sets and maintains loss reserves for claims.
• Evaluates and settles non-severe injury claims.
• Contributes to updates of claims guidelines and best practices.
• Proposes product/process improvements and engages with customers and vendors.
• Learns about personal lines claims, relevant laws, and policy changes.
