The role focuses on investigating automobile accidents, confirming coverage, liability, and damages, and negotiating claims within designated authority. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, enjoy investigative work, and be committed to helping customers navigate challenging situations.

Qualifications

• Investigate and confirm facts of loss for automobile accidents, determine coverage and liability, and adjust/damage claims within authority.
• Work to identify subrogation or fraud potential and handle accordingly.
• Exhibit understanding of company insurance policies and industry relationships.

Responsibilities

• Handles basic investigation regarding auto claims (coverage, liability and damages)
• Identifies customer needs and uses appropriate customer service skills
• Applies basic understanding of systems and technology used within the company
• Partners to determine subrogation or fraud potential and how to handle
• Exhibits basic understanding of insurance policies written by the company and the industry
• Begins recognizing and identifying body parts of a vehicle and other potential property damage
