Amwins Specialty Auto is seeking a Level I Claims Adjuster to investigate straightforward 1st party and liability claims. This hybrid role is located in Plano, TX or Sunrise, FL after in-office training and offers clear career growth within a fast-paced auto claims environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of P&C adjusting, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi-task. A Texas or Florida adjuster license is required prior to start date, with bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of P&C adjusting experience.
• Fluent in English; Spanish preferred.
• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• Must hold Texas or Florida adjuster license before start date.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Establish timely contact with all parties to a claim and gather facts.
• Assess coverage and identify potential issues.
• Determine liability and document the claim file with investigation details.
• Communicate rationale behind coverage or liability decisions to stakeholders.
• Document damages and manage reserves within authorization limits.
• Coordinate assignment of claims to material damage units for inspection or repairs.
