Gerber Collision & Glass in Oak Forest, IL invites you to join a 30-day hands-on test phase to qualify for an 18-month Technician Development Program. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, assist with basic auto body repairs, and learn to use and maintain tools safely.

We value initiative and teamwork; the role offers hourly pay between $18.00 and $21.00 with benefits including PTO, parental leave, medical, retirement plan with company match, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods in the repair of a vehicle.
• Interest in automotive industry and a desire to learn and develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing basic auto body repairs under supervision of experienced technicians.
• Learn to use and maintain tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Participate in vehicle inspections to identify damages and develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with team members to complete repair projects within timelines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
