Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Morristown, TN is offering a hands-on 30-day trial to qualify for the 18-month Technician Development Program. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to gain insight into auto body repair and build practical skills.

Responsibilities include basic dent removal, sanding and painting under supervision, learning tools, and assisting with inspections and repair plans. Requirements include a high school diploma, basic math, safety mindset, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time while working on vehicles.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling as needed.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in various conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic auto body repairs under supervision.
• Learn to use and maintain tools safely and efficiently.
• Participate in vehicle inspections and help develop repair plans.
• Collaborate with team to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
