Responsibilities

1. Examine damaged vehicles and plan repair processes efficiently.
2. Communicate with team members regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Perform quality repairs while adhering to time schedules.
4. Decide on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim to access the vehicle and fenders.
6. Participate in safety meetings.
7. File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power and hand tools.
8. Supervise and guide apprentices or repair personnel when needed.

Qualifications

1. Ability to operate a frame machine.
2. Preferred certification in body repair.
3. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
4. I-CAR welding certification.
5. Skill in analyzing and interpreting measuring data.
6. Ability to supervise repair staff.
7. Must pass a thorough background check.

This role offers a competitive compensation package, based on experience, certifications, and qualifications. Compensation is structured on a commission/flag rate basis, with guaranteed minimum wages as per local laws. The estimated annual pay ranges from USD $65,455 to $180,000.
