Responsibilities

1. Examines damaged vehicle and efficiently plans repair process.
2. Communicates with team regarding vehicle repair status.
3. Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time status.
4. Makes repair vs. replace decisions considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
5. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window equipment, and trim for access.
6. Participates in safety meetings.
7. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces with power and hand tools.
8. Supervises apprentices and explains procedures when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to use frame machine.
• Certification in body repair preferred.
• Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
• I-CAR welding certification.
• Skill in analyzing measuring data.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

The position offers competitive compensation based on experience, certifications, and qualifications. It is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages as per local laws.

Estimated salary range: USD $65,455.00 to $180,000.00 annually.
