Responsibilities
  1. Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process efficiently.
  2. Communicates with team about vehicle repair status.
  3. Performs quality repairs while maintaining on-time completion.
  4. Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
  5. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components, and trim for access.
  6. Participates in safety meetings.
  7. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces using appropriate tools.
  8. Supervises and guides apprentices when needed, explaining procedures.
Qualifications
  1. Ability to operate frame machine.
  2. Certification in body repair preferred.
  3. Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
  4. I-CAR welding certification.
  5. Skill in analyzing measuring data.
  6. Ability to supervise repair personnel.
  7. Must pass a thorough background check.

This position is paid on a commission/flag rate structure, with guaranteed minimum wages. Compensation varies based on experience and certifications. The estimated annual salary range is USD $65,455 to $180,000.
