Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in the United States to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and restore shells using industry standard tools and techniques while aligning with speed, quality, and customer-excellence promises.

The role requires high school completion or a technical program or apprenticeship, ability to work with minimal supervision, and strong attention to safety in a noisy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents, apply filler resins, realign chassis, and replace parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and ensure workmanship meets KPI targets.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final results.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
