Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Pueblo West, CO is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while helping the team meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will work with cutting guns, plasma cutters, hammers, and other tools to repair, realign, replace, and repaint vehicles, ensuring every job is completed to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair sections of a vehicle using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and refinish as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
