Gerber Collision & Glass in the Mukilteo area is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition while delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting speed, quality, and workmanship in a busy shop.

The role involves planning repairs, quoting estimates, and using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, and painting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Successful completion of a technical program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Carefully disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and weld components as needed.
• Prep and repaint vehicles with factory or equivalent finishes.
• Ensure work meets time guidelines and quality checks.
