Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to deliver excellent customer outcomes through precise repairs and attentive service. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, maintaining speed, quality, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced shop environment.

The role emphasizes safe work practices, accurate estimates, and collaboration with team members to meet KPIs and company standards. A strong commitment to quality and brand standards is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with other repairers in an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and tools used to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using appropriate tools.
• Repair dents with filler resins when needed and realign chassis for frame integrity.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts as required.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory or equivalent finishes.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
