Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by meticulously repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence as part of a strong team.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using tools, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding and repainting to factory specs, and inspecting finished work to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers; use tools to repair sections of vehicles.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed; realign chassis and frames.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with parts; repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld/fit parts, prep and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
