Job summary

The Boyd Group is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality vehicle repairs and exceptional customer experiences. You will accurately assess damage, plan repairs, and ensure work meets speed, quality, and safety standards in a busy shop environment.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align frames, replace parts, perform welding, and apply paints to factory specs. A high school diploma or technical training is required, with apprenticeship experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have basic reading of job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork within an auto body shop environment.
• Solid understanding of repair methods for vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint to factory specs or equivalents.
