Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble and reassemble parts, and uphold our promise of speed, quality and customer excellence. You will work with a team to achieve KPIs and represent the brand as a trusted technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical school program or a 3-year auto body repair apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and tools used in auto body work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work that is necessary and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields, and interior parts as needed.
• Weld or attach parts and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality, perform related duties as assigned.
