Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Dublin, OH is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise vehicle repairs and quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring speed, accuracy and adherence to our WOW standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting tools and performing dent repair, chassis realignment, glass work, welding and painting to spec.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair/replace glass and interiors.
• Weld or fit parts and repaint vehicles to specification.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect cars post-repair.
