Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring alignment with KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates with tools like cutting guns and plasma cutters.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and fix glass/windshields.
• Repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint vehicles per factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
