Gerber Collision & Glass in Beaverton, OR is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessments and high-quality vehicle repairs. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring work aligns with our speed and quality standards and that every job meets KPI targets.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Must read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to collaborate with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replaces or repairs glass, interior parts and trims as needed.
• Welds and repaints vehicles to factory specifications or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
