Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in United States, TN seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and quality repair of vehicles. You will diligently disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with speed, quality, and service standards while acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, replacing damaged sections, and ensuring workmanship meets factory specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with quality and speed.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles in alignment with KPIs.
• Plan repair work, prepare cost estimates, and ensure workmanship meets standards.
• Replace or repair damaged sections, glass, or interior parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles per factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect final results.
