Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and exceptional customer experiences. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with speed, quality and customer excellence goals.

You will collaborate with the team to meet KPIs, use a range of tools, and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition while representing The Boyd Group as a Brand Ambassador.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair dents, apply filler, realign chassis and realign frames.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
