Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Longview, TX to provide meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble vehicles and work with the team to meet KPIs while upholding the brand's commitment to speed, quality and customer excellence.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship, and proficiency with body repair tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Must understand body repair methods and use of shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow WOW plan and ensure consistent execution.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using cutting guns, plasma cutters, and hand tools.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and refinish.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality and safety.
