Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Crystal River, FL. You’ll repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with attention to speed, quality, and customer service.

You’ll disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, and work with the team to meet KPIs while representing the Brand with excellence. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and either technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and weld/fit parts as required.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
