Gerber Collision & Glass in Northville, MI is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier customer experiences through precise assessment and quality repairs that restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will remove, repair, and reassemble vehicles, coordinating with teammates to hit KPIs and uphold our brand standards for speed and excellence. A high school diploma or equivalent, plus tech training or an apprenticeship, is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently and accurately.
• Plan and prepare repair work; estimate costs for customers.
• Repair vehicle panels using appropriate tools and materials.
• Realign chassis and frames to restore structural integrity.
• Replace damaged sections with new/aftermarket parts; glass repairs as needed.
• Weld, fit, and paint to factory specs or agreed equivalents.
• Ensure work orders meet labor-time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
