Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition.

The role requires disassembly, repair, and reassembly while maintaining speed, quality, and customer excellence. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and ensure high standards across all repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of how to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers for repairs.
• Realign chassis and frames, replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint or equivalent.
• Inspect finished work to ensure quality and adherence to KPIs.
