Job summary

Classic Collision, established in 1983, is seeking a skilled collision repair technician in Duluth, GA area to disassemble vehicles, assess damage, and plan complete repair strategies. You will work with a team to ensure every step meets safety and quality standards.

The role requires physical dexterity, accuracy, and the ability to read repair orders. ASE/I-CAR certifications are preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required. Competitive benefits accompany a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and creating a repair plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to eliminate supplements and minimize repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged area.
• Mend damaged body by hammering out or filling dents and welding parts; fit and align panels to industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, sander, spray guns, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before painting.
• Repair or replace defective parts and test drive for safety compliance.
• Follow SOPs, safety rules, and company guidelines.
