Classic Collision in Georgia is seeking a skilled Collision Repair Technician to join our growing team. You will disassemble vehicles, perform body work, weld and reassemble to restore components to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• I-CAR / ASE certifications preferred
• 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred
• Valid Driver's License Required
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
• Successful completion of background check required

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicles to assist estimators in preparing a 100% repair plan
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time
• Plan work procedures following the work order
• Remove upholstery and parts to access damaged areas; store parts safely
• Mend dents, weld parts, ensure gaps meet standards, reassemble after painting
• Operate hand and power tools including welder and spray guns
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before painting
• Repair or replace defective parts
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Comply with safety rules and SOPs
