Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an experienced collision repair technician in Georgia. You will assist estimators with assessing damage, plan work orders, and perform disassembly, welding, and reassembly to industry standards.

You will work with a skilled team, use a range of tools, and drive repairs to meet safety and quality standards. This role emphasizes teamwork, continuous training, and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
• Successful completion of background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure: follow work order for all operations listed.
• Remove upholstery and access damaged area; store parts to prevent damage.
• Mend damaged body by hammering, welding, and replacing parts; ensure good gaps/fit.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering, grinders, spray guns, etc.).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety/quality compliance.
• Perform other related duties and comply with procedures.
