Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, using a range of tools and techniques. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble structures, align frames, replace parts, and apply finishes to industry standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or an apprenticeship. Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles per repair plan.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged sections with parts.
• Weld, paint, and ensure repairs meet factory standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect results.
