Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Utah seeks an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, applying quality workmanship and adhering to WOW standards to deliver speed, quality and customer excellence.

You will work with a team, follow cost estimates, operate tools like plasma cutters and welders, and ensure safety. A high school diploma or technical training plus an apprenticeship are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• Completion of a technical school program or apprenticeship is a plus.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Assess damage, plan repairs, and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools like plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and welders to repair bodies.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and safety requirements.
