Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician who will repair vehicles to pre-accident condition while maintaining high quality and speed. You will disassemble, repair, realign, and reassemble body components, weld and repaint as needed, and collaborate with teammates to hit KPIs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Able to work with other repairers to achieve repair KPIs.
• Solid understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace damaged sections with parts.
• Weld, paint, and finish surfaces to factory standards.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect completed work.
