Job summary

Crash Champions in Texas (Katy) is seeking a skilled collision repair technician to inspect damaged vehicles, plan repairs, and perform quality bodywork to keep projects on schedule. You will coordinate with team members and ensure safety standards are met, with opportunities for growth through certifications.

Qualifications

• Frame machine experience and ability to plan repairs.
• I-CAR welding certification or equivalent.
• Ability to supervise repair personnel and train apprentices.
• Must pass a thorough background check.

Responsibilities

• Examines damaged vehicle and plans repair process.
• Works with teammates on repair status.
• Performs quality repairs and maintains on-time status.
• Decides on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, cycle time.
• Removes upholstery, trim, and equipment to access areas.
• Attends required safety meetings.
• Files, grinds, and sands surfaces with tools.
• Directs an apprentice when needed.
