Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and proper tool usage.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and interiors as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or approved finishes.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
