Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Bloomington, IL to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and quality vehicle repairs, restoring cars to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence as a brand ambassador of The Boyd Group.

Qualifications

• Must read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Able to collaborate with other repairers in the shop.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.
• Solid knowledge of tools used in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates with needed tools.
• Repair dents, realign chassis, replace parts and apply paint as needed.
• Remove and replace damaged sections; repair glass and interiors.
• Weld and fit parts, ensure workmanship meets KPIs and quality standards.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to confirm correct execution.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
