Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using cutting guns and plasma cutters, realigning frames, and ensuring high-quality work within labor guidelines. The Boyd Group emphasizes teamwork and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers in an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of repair methods and required tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute repair work per WOW plan and ensure quality results.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle bodies using proper tools and techniques.
• Realign chassis/frames and replace damaged parts as needed.
• Inspect vehicles after repairs to ensure correctness.
