Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Wisconsin is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will work with a team to plan repairs, use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, and other equipment to restore vehicles, while meeting safety and quality standards and supporting the company’s speed and reliability goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven ability to read and interpret job orders and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace or repair parts and glass as needed.
• Weld or attach parts and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect repairs.
