Gerber Collision & Glass in Tacoma, WA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to perform precise repairs and deliver an excellent customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace parts and glass, and ensure work meets speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, and either a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents with filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames for structural repair.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; repaint vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
