Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Pflugerville, TX seeks an Auto Body Technician with 4-5 years of collision repair experience. The role focuses on meticulous assessment, quality repair, and delivering a superior customer experience to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition.

Responsibilities include disassembly, repair, and reassembly, meeting KPIs, and acting as a Brand Ambassador. Requires high school diploma and formal auto body training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer out dents, apply filler resin, and realign chassis when needed.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, repairs to interior parts.
• Weld, fit parts, and prep/paint vehicles as required.
• Inspect completed work and ensure adherence to KPIs.
