Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and quality repair to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, working with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality and customer excellence.

The role requires the ability to read job orders, use a variety of tools, and work safely in a noisy shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates; use cutting tools and equipment.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and repair glass, interiors as required.
