Classic Collision in Georgia is seeking an experienced collision repair technician to join our team. You will disassemble vehicles, identify required repairs, and plan repair procedures to achieve a 100% repair plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicles to assist Collision Estimators in preparing a 100% Repair Plan.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedures following the work order for all listed operations.
• Remove upholstery and components to access damaged areas and protect parts when stored.
• Repair body damage by hammering, filling dents, and welding replacement parts; ensure gaps are proper and panels align.
• Operate hand and power tools including welders, torches, hammers, and sanders.
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before handing vehicles to Paint Dept.
• Test drive repaired vehicles to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow SOPs.
