Job summary

Athens, GA-based Classic Collision is seeking a skilled collision repair professional to join our team. This role focuses on disassembly, planning 100% repair scopes, and performing repairs to factory standards within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2–3 years' collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist Collision Estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Identify needed repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure following the work order.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical components and other parts to access damaged area; store parts safely.
• Repair body panels by hammering, filling, welding and reassemble after painting.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces before handing vehicle to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Comply with all Classic Collision procedures, safety rules, and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
