Job summary

Classic Collision Auburn is seeking an experienced Collision Repair Technician to join our repair center in Auburn, GA. You will disassemble vehicles, assess damage, plan repairs, and perform body work to restore vehicles to industry standards.

Responsibilities include following work orders, using hand and power tools, inspecting completed work, and ensuring safety and quality. Competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 2-3 years’ collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer-focused with ability to work in a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Complete disassembly of vehicle to assist estimators in assessing damage and prepare a 100% Repair Plan.
• Ensure all needed repairs identified to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Plan work procedure following the work order for all operations.
• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic components to access damaged area; store parts securely.
• Mend damaged body panels by hammering, filling, and welding; ensure gaps and fits meet industry standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, soldering equipment, cutting torch, grinders, spray guns).
• File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before delivering to Paint Dept.
• Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles for safety and quality compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned and follow standard procedures.
