Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Waco, TX is hiring an Auto Body Technician with 4-5 years of collision repair experience. You will assess and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition and work with the team to hit KPIs while upholding brand standards.

The role requires the ability to disassemble, repair, reassemble, and repaint vehicles, using standard tools and following safety procedures. This position is part of The Boyd Group family and emphasizes speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute auto body repairs per WOW plan.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace damaged sections with new/aftermarket parts.
• Weld and fit parts; sand, paint to factory standards.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
