Gerber Collision & Glass in Watauga, TX is seeking an Auto Body Technician with 4-5 years minimum collision auto body repair experience to deliver outstanding customer service through meticulous vehicle repairs and restoration. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align chassis, replace or repair parts and glass, and work with the team to meet KPIs while upholding the Boyd Group brand.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical school program or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and vehicle schematics.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new/aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, windshields and interior parts.
• Weld and fit parts, prep and repaint to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
