Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier customer experiences by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will work with a team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires tooling proficiency, body repair skills, and the ability to safely operate in a noisy shop environment with lifting up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution and customer satisfaction.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair body sections using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace/repair glass, interior parts, and weld/fit components.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure work quality and adherence to timelines.
